Gail Niebrugge of Palmer, Alaska, is one of the state's best loved artists. She has a Master's Degree in Art Illustration from Syracuse University, and is a signature member of the Watercolor USA Honor Society. A four-time winner in the National Diabetes Association's Holiday Art Search, Niebrugge's artwork has appeared on hundreds of thousands of Christmas cards sold nationwide to benefit diabetes research. Gail has also received the Reaching People Award from the ADA's Pacific Northwest region and a Golden Rose Award from its Alaska region.
