Wendy Hook has honed her carving skills in Alaska with her father, a well known Alaskan artist. He has passed on the gift of capturing the natural beauty of wildlife in her soapstone carvings. Raised in Leavenworth, Washington, a small Bavarian town in the foothills of the Cascade mountains, Wendy has always lived with nature at her back door for her sculpting inspiration.
