This vase which is a hollow form made from two matched (bookend) pieces of walnut and topped with a small piece of maple burl around the neck. This tight-grained walnut ranges from a light chocolate to a very dark chocolate in color. It is approximately 6 3/4" tall and 9 1/2" wide.
