Artist's description:
This scene was painted totally out of my head. The fish seen on the racks are not the more common pink salmon, which are dried and used for dog food, but King Salmon. These are cut into strips and ooze with fish oils. They are delicious. I like to paint fish bright red even though they are brown from drying.
