Artist narrative:
Tenakee is noted for its beautiful summer gardens. Both flowers and vegatables thrive as do the multitude of crows and other birds who feed on the seeds and new growth. This garden is protected by a well dressed, life sized scarecrow. After the growing season has ended, and her clothes have faded, her owner sometimes outfits her with a 'new' more colorful ensemble.
