Lisa Sayer
Lisa Sayer was born and raised in Hern Bay in Southeast England but has called Ketchikan, Alaska, her home since 1992. Before settling here in Southeast Alaska, she lived in Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong.
She says she has loved stained glass for as long as she can remember. “I grew up going on school trips to Canterbury Cathedral and was in awe of the glass artisans of old,” says Lisa. In 2003 she took glass working class at the University of Alaska Southeast and has been hooked ever since. Since then, she has explored various techniques and perfected the technique of glass fusing.
