Sandra Greba
Alaskan artist Sandra Greba built a name for herself through her stunningly realistic watercolors featuring native flowers and avian life. Sandra was born in the kitchen of quarters #5, Gulkana Airfield, Alaska. She spent her early childhood in the rural parts of the state; in places like Kotzebue and Aniak. She then moved to Oklahoma City where she completed her schooling and worked as a florist and bridal consultant.
Sandra returned to Alaska in 1980 and currently resides in Sitka where she paints and operates a bed and breakfast named after her daughter, Hannah. Recognized for her botanical accuracy, she is a self-taught artist who strives to capture the intricate details and fragile beauty inherent in her subject matter.
