Arist's narrative: The waiting colorful skiffs tied up on the beach in this protected cove hold the promise of adventures to be had. They are poised for a day of exploring hidden coves, funky old cabins, and sheltered beaches that make Alaska's coast my favorite place. I painted this on a chart of nearly the entire Inside Passage early in the spring while waiting for the weather to get underway on a fishin trip. I hope it makes you feel like exploring.
