The 48th running of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race kicked off on March 6! Alaskan artists have long found inspiration in the hardworking teams of dogs and mushers who take on the treacherous trail. As the official artist of the Iditarod, Jon Van Zyle has been creating Iditarod artwork for over 40 years.
