Ann Miletich

Ann works primarily in watercolors and collage - often pasting elements onto her paintings. The use of collage adds a three dimensional effect on many of her paintings and accomplishes something else important to her: "It forces the viewer’s eye to look at different areas of the painting."

Inspired by the landscape and beauty of Alaska, nature dominates her paintings. Ann takes a more abstract approach as she strives to capture the feeling of a place, not the place itself.
